Mackenzie Emiya Lavine, a nine-year-old girl, is the daughter of Danyelle Deberry from Charlotte, NC, and shares a special bond with her guardian, Tony L. Autry. Her grandmother, Enderia O’Keshia Autry, resides in Charlotte, NC, while her great-grandmother, Angela Autry Dunlap, lives in Marshville, NC, and her grandfather, Edward Clark, is from Ansonville, NC.
Born under the Pisces zodiac sign, Mackenzie is a third-grade student at Peachland-Polkton Elementary School in Polkton, NC. She particularly enjoys reading and gym class. Her interests include playing video games, reading chapter books, tennis, running, singing, and spending quality time with her labradoodle, Jackson, as well as her three sisters: Kalani, Laiyah, and Sayori. She has participated in soccer through the Anson County Parks and Recreation and has taken private ballet lessons at No Limit Dance Company in Marshville, NC.
Mackenzie has previously held the title of Morven Chapter Little Miss Las Amigas Queen and has been involved in various events across Anson, Union, and Chesterfield Counties, including the Annual Wadesboro Christmas Parade, Pageland Watermelon Parade, Lilesville First 4th of July Parade, Las Amigas Men of the Year Program, Anson County Martin Luther King Annual Parade, Town of Ansonville Homecoming Parade, Anson County Martin Luther King Black History Choir Concert, and the HOLLA! production of The Lion King presented by Marvin AME Zion Church in Waxhaw, NC.
